Pay Pal is now enforcing an update on all websites that use their system for communicating about payment transactions and are requiring a higher level of security on your website.  This roll out is hitting in June 2016, but fortunately we have already been working behind the scenes and have a fix we can apply.  They are enforcing these updates in order to support industry standards, such as crypto industry’s mandate to upgrade SSL certificates to SHA-256, and the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Council’s TLS 1.2 mandate.

* Note: Pay Pal sends a message to your website after a transaction has taken place which triggers the website to inform your client that payment has been received successfully.  Without this communication, your customers may believe their payment is unsuccessful and attempt it again or worse, cancel their payment to you.   The communication back from Pay Pal also triggers your website to send you an email with all the order details and sets the status of the order appropriately.

To keep Pay Pal from restricting their communication with your website,  we need to upgrade your security and get your site approved with a security certificate.  If you are accepting PayPal as a form of payment through your website, please utilize the following invoice to purchase the solution.
