| These are some great rear-entry boots from Alpina. People ask for rear entry boots since they OPEN so large that you can slip these on easily. As far as skiing performance goes, this is a recreational cruiser boot that can be used ALL DAY and also provide HIGH PERFORMANCE when you need it. EXCELLENT carving. Anyone from a complete beginner to a pretty good skier can find a happy home in this boot. I was personally using these boots on a pair of Elan parabolic skis, but they can be used on any type of ski with a normal downhill binding. I was able to attack and succeed on all types of terrain including black diamond runs. I also used these boots to help my friends out with quality boots so they would not have to rent.
Concerning the size, I wore these boots as a male size 10.5 shoe (regular) but friends sized 9-11 all fit with no problem also and were able to ski comfortably and reliably! Example: My wife who is a size 9 decided she would never switch to a different style boot again and wears the exact same size as me. If your feet are a little larger or a little smaller than the listed size, this boot will compensate nicely.

Rear Entry Shell Design: This boot features a true Rear entry shell design, just like from the 80s. No hybrid almost rear-entry buckle systems. Just a single ratchet-tightening buckle and a massive rear opening.
40 Flex Rating: 40 Flex for an adult boot is VERY soft, and indicates that this boot is meant for beginners and very casual cruiser skiers. If this is a junior boot, 40 flex is stiffer than average and will be meant for strong kid skiers.
High Thermal: This boot features extra thermal material in the toe of the boot to keep your foot a little extra warm.
